Barnalúdicas is starting tomorrow and I plan to be there for the whole weekend. Barnalúdicas is the biggest event about board-games/role-playing games in Barcelona (maybe even in Spain?) so I am considerably excited.
This is going to be my second time there: last time it was in spring and I got to play a mini Discworld rpg game, participate in a nerd trivia game (btw, Marc and I won it), attend a new Aquelarre edition presentation and try some of the games of several mighty game clubs combined. I had the chance of meeting some old friends there… and, surprisingly, make new ones. Amazing people I hang around with often. Colour me thankful.
As a little extra excitement, there’s the fact that I consider this event to be the first one of the Autumn nerdy happenings, including but not limited to: the Sitges Film Festival in October and El Saló del Manga in October/November. So yay for that too.
