My Little Pony, the role-playing game
April Fool’s Day 2006: Wizards of the Coast publishes a Design & Development announcement about joining Habro’s My Little Pony franchise to create an RPG “for mothers and daughters”.

Despite being no more than a jape for the company, it was only natural that the idea sprouted in the minds of many creative gamers. The favorable reception of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and the creation of certain world-building canons only furthered the interest in a possible crossover. Back then, My Little Pony was in its third generation but it is the present one, the fourth, that has built a solid fandom.
