A commissioned painting for a friend, this has been sitting in my drafts for a minute, whoops. The top colours are more accurate but the bottom brightnesses are, too.

I love this comic so much. My favorite part is the (possible) call back to that Penny Arcade comic and PATV episode where Mike won over Jerry about using the phrase “erotically charged sexventure” (more specifically, the word sexventure instead of adventure) to describe how a group plays D&D.

Wang Yue, a senior at Dalian Industry University, uses her paintbrush to turn ugly tree holes into lovely views in Shijiazhuang, capital city of Hebei Province.
Wang Yue calls the tree-hole paintings “meitu” which means “beautiful journey.” The paintings on the trees have brightened the city during the dull, grey winter.
