This is Sky Doll, a marvelous graphic novel made by Alessandro Barbucci and Barbara Canepa ( Italian pride lol). They use a sexier Disney style, with a gorgeus HANDMADE and digital coloration. The story is very satiric. Are you religious? DON’T READ IT XD

Religious dystopia with quasi-erotic art, yay! And actually, even if you are religious, as long as you are open-minded I don’t think you would find the material offensive. It is a fictional religion based in the Catholic Church, true, but is has been done before.
The treatment of female religious figures (yay female popes!), spiritual and sexual love and the humanity of androids is really interesting. And the art often is breathtaking. First appearance of Ludovica dressed as La Virgen del Rocío? Impressive.
