Book cover designed by Buzz Studios, the one man design studio of Adam Busby. The single colour print on the worn cream background reeks of the aesthetics of old printed maps and is really a perfect mix of the complexity of the map and the simplicity of the title box. Would be great if this ever went into production, who knows…

Tolkien Reading Day celebrating the 75th year of the Hobbit!
Cool fact: the Tolkien translator to Catalan, Francesc Parcerisas, was the dean of my faculty while I was finishing my studies. He is also the closest to a rock star we have in translation. Last year he gave a talk on Tolkien: background, levels of formality, adapting the names and the notes Tolkien left for future translation of his works. It was awesome and overcrowded.
